Ewa Michalak’s S, SM and SF Styles – Battle of the Bras

With the recent debut of the new SF style (review HERE) from Ewa Michalak, we thought it would be helpful to our readers if we did a comparison of the S, SM and SF styles for you. Although all three styles are similar, they have distinct differences that I will point out that make each one unique and might have you favoring one over the others.

img_3530-1
S Kwaity

I’d like to first do a short recap the three styles for you, starting with the classic S style. The S is a lightly padded balconette with a higher gore and comes with removable push-up pads to give you that extra oomph and/or help with asymmetry correction.

img_3531
SM Amorek

Next is the SM, which is an unlined balconette with a higher gore and cups made of a stable (non-stretchy) material, typically lace or mesh. This style does not come with removable push-up pads.

img_3532
SF Gladzioch bez

Lastly we will recap the SF, or Semi-soFt style which the most recent style debuted in the EM line. The SF is a good compromise between the S and SM, being a semi-padded bra with the same high gore as the other two. Like the SM, this style doesn’t come with removable push-up pads. The bottom of the cups are made of a stable (non-stretchy) material while the top of the cups is made of a double layer of elastic tulle, allowing for more stretch and forgiveness up top.

img_3549

Now that you know the basics of each style, I’d like to get into comparing the three for you.  Let’s start with their similarities. All three styles come with three or four rows of two or three hook and eyes (depending on size of the bra) as well as fully adjustable straps. They also all are designed in a way that pulls your breasts forward to create maximum cleavage. Due to the medium-to-high gore on these styles (3″ tall on my 65GGs), they are well suited for softer breasts that tend to fall in the center when wearing a bra with a low gore such as the PL style, or if you have wide cleavage and want to pull your breasts closer. The down-side to the higher gore is that these styles can be difficult for women with very close-set breasts, as the gore can tend to sit on the tissue (or implant). Lastly, the cup height is mid-level which makes this an ideal bra to wear with a medium neckline, but may be difficult with a lower cut top.

img_3551

Since we have covered the general style and similarities of these three bras lets move on to what makes them so different, and that really is their cups.  Aside from the classic S style being the only one of the three that comes with pockets for removable pads or “cookies”, it also has light padding sewn into the cup.  The positives: it gives you a little extra oomph without feeling like you are wearing a really padded bra; it covers your nips for modesty (no nipping out in this bra); and the lining is very soft against your skin.  The negatives: in warmer weather this bra can be a little hot, creating the dreaded boob sweat we all hate; and if you already feel like your breasts are big enough, the padding on this bra may not be something you are looking for.  The cups of the SM style are pretty much the exact opposite of the S.  This style does not come with removable pads and is constructed of very thin and shear material.  The positives: this bra is a godsend in warm weather, as the cup material is light and airy; and although it pulls your breasts front-and-center, with no padding it doesn’t add any extra bulk to your boobs.  The negatives: if you are more modest (or your office seems to always be frigidly cold like mine is), this bra is going to have you nipping out a bit; and since this bra has no padding or cookies, the sizing is not very forgiving so you will need to have your size down and may not work well if you have a lot of asymmetry.  Last is the SF, which really seems to marry the S and SM together.  Like the SM, this style does not come with removable pads, however the cup is made with a slightly thicker material so it is not sheer.  Also, if you love the shape that the S style gives you but you find that the top of the cups are too closed off, the SF is a great alternative since the tulle at the top allows for more FoT breasts without creating that “muffin top” look that the S style can sometimes make.  The positives: if you like the modesty of the S style but don’t want a padded bra, this is a great compromise; and if you need more room at the top of your cup, this is a great style.  The negatives: like with the SM, since there is no padding, you really need to know your sizing.  NOTE: Another difference I noticed with the SF is that the cups are more full coverage on this bra than on the S or SM styles.

img_3548

As far as which is the best style?  I really don’t think any of them are the “best”, as I think that they all serve a purpose, and in my opinion all deserve a spot in your wardrobe 🙂  Personally, I prefer the S style and wear that the majority of the time.  However, on super hot days I will chose between the SM and the SF, and which one I choose is 100% dependent on if I am going to work or not.  As I mentioned earlier, my office building is always freezing and I hate worrying about if my nips are showing, so if I’m going to work then I will wear the SF.  But if it is hot out and I am going to be outside, I almost always reach for my SM.  A small little side note about the SM style for those of you who are also enhanced like me: since I have very little natural tissue and no hang, my breasts do not fill out the very bottom of my cups (a very common thing among implanted ladies).  Though this happens in all my bras, since the SM is sheer it is the only bra where I actually see that gap.  It’s not a big deal, but it did worry me the first time I tried the SM, until I found out this is normal.

If you haven’t tried any of these styles before, my suggestion is always to start with the classic S style first and really get your sizing down.  Once you know what size you are in Ewa Michalak, then branch out to the other styles.  As a quick tip, the SM and the SF do seem to typically run a little big in the cups (or seem that way since there isn’t any padding to fill the cup out a bit), so I might suggest getting a cup size smaller in these styles 😉  I hope you have enjoyed this review and please let us know if you have any questions!

CHP Summertime

WM 7

Today is all about Ewa Michalak’s CHP Summertime. This is a style that is offered by Bra Obsessed. Summertime is a revival of the original SM style. While I do love the SM, the CHP is my BAM bra. I absolutely love the lifted, rounded appearance that I get with CHPs.

While CHP Summertime is a padded bra, the colors and design give it the look of being light and airy. The warm tones perfectly reflect the season it is named after. It is a light caramel color, with mesh overlay in the same color on the cups. Three part vertical seams help create the amazing lift. The mesh has exquisite floral embroidery focused mainly along the tops of the cups, and also draping vertically down. The embroidery is satiny shades of peach flowers  and silvery white leaf designs. Because of the tones of this one, I think it would make a nice, spiced up version of a nude bra for some skin tones. When I first saw this bra online, I was afraid that the embroidery would be bulky under a top. Luckily, it’s relatively smooth.

The straps are fully adjustable and the clasp has four rows of three hook and eye closures. Even though the bow at the gore appears to be peach in the pictures, it is actually white, and looks great with the silvery white embroidered leaf detail. The cups are lined with soft cotton and have removable pads.

WM 10

I have gone through some recent size changes, and have gone up just about a cup size. I had ordered this before the increase in size, in an 80G, which was perfect for me in the CHP cut. Unfortunately, with the pads in now, as they are in the images, you can see some quadding. With the pads out it fits perfectly.

WM 9

This is another one that will be a great addition to your bradrobe, and not only for the summertime. 🙂

Comexim’s Absolute Beauty

2016-18-6--15-36-54The lovely Anna of Comexim gifted me with her Beauty Half Cup, and I could not be happier with it. The name says it all. There is something about this bra that is reminiscent of a time gone by.

The base of the bra is cream with the prettiest black lace overlay.  There are vertical seams in the lace, aligning with the vertical seams of the cups, which add another level to the overall gorgeousness of the bra.  The lace is across the gore and covers the wires, to bottom of the front of the band. It extends to the wings and ends in the most delicate eyelash lace. The remainder of the band is a cream nylon-like material with black trim. Along the tops of the cups is about 1.5 inches of a different black lace that compliments the overlay perfectly. There is a dainty bow at the gore made of black and a creamy gold satin. It adds just a little extra glamour to the bra, but doesn’t take away from the main focus: the lace.

                                 2016-18-6--15-46-46

The black straps are fully adjustable with a black satin overlay. The inside of the cups are lined with cream, soft  cotton.

2016-18-6--15-34-24

Let’s talk about my customization. Straps moved in 2 cm, reduced material at the gore to prevent gaping, reduced gore and pockets for cookie inserts. Half Cups are my favorite style from Comexim and so far I have been very lucky that Anna has been able to make the majority of my orders into the Half Cup model. In my size (80J), half cups are a three part cup construction, which allows for the projection that I need for my best fit. The cups have a very thin amount of padding. I think of it as more lightly lined, but definitely not heavily padded. Even without padding, as you can see, Beauty provides an excellent shape and uplift. If I want some extra oomph, I just add some cookies.

2016-18-6--15-32-37

The band is firm in Beauty, lying flat measuring at 27.75, and stretched is 35.5. This is for an 80 (36) band, so you might want to keep that in mind when ordering. Speaking of ordering… if you don’t have Beauty you should 😉

Is Ewa’s New Semi-soFt Right for You?

As anyone who loves Polish lingerie knows, Ewa Michalak is not just known for the gorgeous look of her bras, but also for designing different styles to accommodate the many types of breasts there are.  Unlike most lingerie companies that might have a few different styles and then scale their sizes, Ewa currently offers about 13 different styles of bras to accommodate almost any type of boobs, from small to big, close-set to wide, FoT or FoB, firm or soft.  The most recent style that Ewa has designed is the SF, which stands for Semi-soFt.  As soon as this new style was posted on the Ewa Michalak Facebook page I was immediately intrigued.  And when she offered to send me the SF Gladzioch bez set (including the Bibi bezowa Perla thong) as a gift so that I could wear and review it for our readers, I was beyond thankful, as I know that many of our readers are just as curious about this new style as I was!   Note: Although this bra was gifted for review purposes, all thoughts and opinions are my own and given with full honesty and disclosure.

img_3126-1

Upon first glance of the SF Gladzioch bez, you’re probably thinking what I was thinking, which is that it definitely lacks the pizzazz that Ewa bras are known for, looking more like a plain nude bra.  However, when you see it in person it’s hard not to appreciate the simple elegance that it exudes.  The four-part cup is made of a shiny nude fabric on the bottom 3-parts, and a double layer of elastic tulle on the top.  And no Ewa bra would be complete without the signature details that make her bras so fun and special; in keeping with simple elegance there are small buttons placed at the gore and straps.  It actually reminds me of an elegant, understated wedding gown with the shiny satin and tulle…though that might just be because I’m getting married soon and I have wedding dresses on the brain 😉 !  So although this may not be as “fun” as many of the other bras that have recently been released, please make no mistake that this is still a gorgeous Ewa bra!

img_3124

According to the description of the SF on the Ewa Michalak website, this bra is meant for those who want more structure than an unlined bra provides, but don’t like the bulkiness of a padded bra, and I’d have to say that that description is pretty much spot on.  The SF is like the child  of the S and SM styles if they had a baby 🙂  The material on the bottom 3-parts of the cup is on the stiffer side, so it gives great structure and support without being bulky at all.  The tulle at the top of the cups allows for more coverage but because it is a very stretchy material, it doesn’t give you a closed in feeling like the S style can have. I actually think this would be a great style for women who have quite a bit of projection and/or are very FoT, especially if you want more coverage than a CHP provides without getting the “muffin top” that the S can give.  The band on this bra is very firm, so I would recommend considering sizing up if you usual size is already on the firm side.

img_3123

Upon trying the SF on, I was glad I chose to get a 65GG, which is the size I wear in the SM and BM styles (I’m in between a 65GG and 65H in the S style). This bra has a ton of projection so you’ll want to consider sizing down for this one, as it does not come with cookie pockets to help fill you out. The fit is very similar to the S style and gives a lot of BAM, which I love!  As I mentioned previously, the band is very firm (the firmest out of any of the 65s I own) and the gore gives me a very hard tack like my unlined bras do. I was worried that the stiff material might be scratchy or uncomfortable, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite comfortable and didn’t bother me at all.

img_3122

I wore the SF for a full day, which is about 12 hours and here are my honest pros and cons. The pros are that I loved the shape it gave me and the fact that I felt very supported but not too warm (as my S styles can be in the hotter months of summer). And I do enjoy the very firm band and fully adjustable straps for comfort as well. I have a couple of cons though that I thought were worth mentioning as well. The first was that although I believe it is mentioned in the description as something that just naturally happens and is not a fault in the product, I didn’t really like that the tulle seemed to gather or wrinkle throughout the day. This may not happen if you have more projection to keep the material more taut, but I did notice it happened to me since the elastic tulle is very stretchy. I didn’t seem to notice it through my shirt, but when I peeked in under my shirt I saw it and would smooth it out. The second is more of a personal preference in that the gore has such a hard tack that by the end of the day I did feel it quite a bit. Nothing horrible, but more noticeable than I’d like. However, I notice that with my SM styles as well so if you like the fit and feel of the SM, I don’t think this is something you’d mind at all.

img_3121

As mentioned, to go along with the SF Gladzioch bez, I was also gifted the Bibi bezowa Perla thong.  These I got in a size 36, which I was a little worried would be too big, since my Amorek thong in the same size was a little on the loose side.  But those extra few pounds I have put on over the past few months must have filled in the space because the 36s were a perfect fit and the perfect complement to my new SF.  I especially love the little pearl accent on the back!  I must admit that I’m not a fan of all of Ewa’s thongs, as I feel some are a bit on the high-waisted side, with the band sitting at my navel.  But these fit just the way I like, with the band resting about an inch or two below.  The lace is very soft and as with the SF Gladzioch bez, they have a very bridal feel to them.  So much so that I may actually wear these on my wedding day 🙂

Overall, I really liked the SF and it’s a style I’d definitely purchase again once there are some fun colors and patterns to choose from!  If you enjoy the SM style and want a bit more structure or more modesty, I think this is a style you should strongly consider 🙂

SM Triumf a Nude Necessity

Where do I begin….well there was a long time in my life that I only wore nude or black bras with the most padding I could possibly find to help even out my figure.  I’ve always been extra small on top and after nursing 4 kiddos I was very deflated and lacked fullness.  Couple that with larger hips and I was left feeling disproportionate  until I had my breast augmentation.  I recently went through revision surgery and now I am very happy with my new proportions and I love wearing unlined bras for the first time in my life, no more thick  padding for me!  So my Polish bra obsession kicked in and I will admit that I need to have every shade of the rainbow and I also swore to never look for a beige bra again.  I often find myself matching my vibrant, colorful sets to whichever top I’ve chosen that day,  a beautiful red strap peeking out of a red blouse is fine with me 🙂  Alas there are times when those brilliant pops of color just won’t work under a white tee-shirt or light blouse and not having a completely nude bra just won’t suffice.  Just as I started my search Ewa Michalak released the gorgeous SM Triumf  (an unlined balconette style) and immediately knew I had to add it to my colorful collection.  Little did I know just how stunning this bra would be in person and you just can’t beat the trademark Ewa Michalak fit.  Narrow wires and great projection. are perfect for my augmented breasts and with it hitting 115 where I live in the summer months an unlined bra is a necessity!

The floral patterned lace of Triumf is intricate, but not too delicate and it is the perfect shade to completely disappear under a white top on my complexion.

1464475094518(1)

The gore is narrow and the wires overlap slightly so it’s a wonderful fit for my very close set breasts.  I’ve noticed that Triumf along with a few other SM styles I’ve tried have a firmer band and the wires feel stronger,  I’m not sure if it’s literally a stronger wire or if it just feels that way since it’s an unlined bra lacking padding.  It’s as if there is wonderful support with an almost airy,  freeing feeling since there isn’t extra fabric and I absolutely love the lightness!  I get a nice lifted round shape with forward projection that looks great under a fitted tee-shirt so it is exactly what I needed for my collection, a very un-boring nude bra with a subtle sexiness.

1464474817567

I ordered SM Triumf in a 65gg after reading that the unlined styles by Ewa Michalak ran on the firm side and I found this to be very true as I stated previously.  It’s a perfect fit on the loosest hooks for my 26.5 underbust.  The 65gg has a 3 hook closure for added band support and in my experience I prefer the extra stability and comfort it provides.

1464502497473The cups are a strong non-stretch lace and where the cup meets the strap the lace is doubled-up I assume for strength so the lace won’t tear.  The band itself is a satiny, stretchy material that is soft and luxurious.  Ewa Michalak never disappoints when it comes to adding the perfect little extra touches on her bras… from the tiny bow and round crystal gore detail to the scalloped lace edging on the tops of the cups,  this nude bra is a stunner.

1464475038872(1)

In my pictures it may seem as if it’s cutting in a bit when in actuality that’s just my relaxed skin after 4 pregnancies,  I call it my bra roll,  in a grumbled voice of course.  The bra sits nicely in my crease and the gore tacks well, although after a few hours the gore sort of folds to the right or left over itself since my breasts sit so close together.  It’s not uncomfortable and I’m not sure if it’s just an augmented breast issue but I could see others experiencing the same thing if they are very center heavy.  The cups are the perfect depth and filled nicely.

20160506_091306

I’m thrilled to have another well-fitting work of “bra art” by Ewa Michalak in a nude shade and just in time as we’ve had a few 100 degree days already!  Have you tried Triumf?  I would love to hear your thoughts and if you’ve been eyeing this beauty I suggest adding it to your collection,  you won’t be disappointed.

Ewa Michalak’s SM KanKan

IMG_20160514_095547

In the limelight today we have  Ewa Michalak’s SM KanKan. This bra came out in Ewa’s Winter collection. While the dark bold colors scream Winter, and a little of bit of sexy time naughtiness, 😉 the lightweight material makes it perfect for summer months. The SM style as a whole has no padding and all of the SM bras that I own from EM are constructed of thinner materials, allowing the girls to breathe and avoid the dreaded “boob sweat” that some of us experience during the warmer months. It gets to above 110 degrees where I live, so a nice light, cool bra is much appreciated! Ewa Michalak calls the SM their Un-paddded Balconette. The best thing about the SM style though, is that even with the lighter material and no padding, you do not give up any of the support. You get light, airy, lacy gorgeousness. and don’t have to sacrifice the things that you actually need your bra to do.

This is a 3 part cup in my size (80GG). I find the that band runs true to size. The bottom 2 parts are a satiny, shiny, sheer red material. The top portion of the cup is a sheer black mesh with a floral lace pattern that extends to cover the entire cup. The seams on the inside of the cups are black, while the vertical seam on the front of the cup is the shiny red.

2016-14-5--12-10-38

The gore is black with a black satin bow that has red in the center with rhinestones in a circle, surrounding the red. Pure perfection! The straps are black with some red stitching and are fully adjustable. The wings are thicker black mesh with what appears to be small diamond stitching accents…. Just noticed that as I am writing the review. Lol. The band is black with red lace trim along the entire bottom and red stitching along the top.

2016-14-5--12-13-47

This is a show stopper. And so comfortable. It truly feels like I am wearing nothing at all with the KanKan, and all of Ewa’s SM styles. They provide the perfect amount of lift and support.

Additional photos from the Ewa Michalak website of the matching panties and the 3DM style:

Ewa Michalak still has this one available in what looks to be all sizes, and it sells for 179,000 zl. There are matching high briefs, regular briefs and a thong, so you can choose the style and look that you prefer. This would make the perfect bedroom ensemble, or your “just because you want some sexy in your lingerie” set. This also comes in the 3DM style, and there appears to be several sizes in that style as well. Ladies!!  Why haven’t you bought this yet???  Get on it!!  You won’t regret it, I promise! Summer is coming, and we all need as many SM styles as we can get our hands on, and this one shouldn’t be missed.  Tell Ewa and Kaska that I sent you 😉

The Majestic Lady Grey by Comexim

Hi ladies! It literally feels like forever since I’ve written a review for you all, but since buying a new home last fall I’ve not been able to keep up on my usual bra purchasing habits and therefore have not really had anything to write about. However, I am happy to say that along with this bra I also have a couple more on the way so I’m hoping to get some good reviews out for your reading pleasure!

Lady Grey is a bra that was originally made by Anna Pardal and first became available last summer. When it was first released, it had a satin ribbon edging that lined the tops of the cups (as seen below in this picture of Gogobee), but I believe that it caused some fitting issues so they later decided to remove that detail from the newer Lady Greys they made.

When this bra originally came out and several of our AEE ladies purchased it, I was obsessed immediately. But due to the ribbon issues I had heard about and the fact that I was still unsure about purchasing an Anna Pardal because of the heftier price tag than Comexim or Ewa Michalak, I held off. Then when we heard the sad news that Anna Pardal was closing its doors, I immediately fell into a regret spiral for not purchasing it when I could.  Luckily, shortly after hearing about AP, we heard the great news that Comexim (who had been producing the bras for AP) would continue to make them while they had the materials to do so.  I was elated and swore that I wouldn’t let this beauty get away from me a second time!

image2 (14)

As any of you who are regular readers of our blog know, we are huge fans of Jaimie at Bra Obsessed.  Though I have always been a “direct buy” kind of girl, purchasing my bras directly through Comexim and Ewa Michalak, this time I decided to try a retailer and reached out to Jaimie.  She was so sweet and wonderful to work with.  Given that the last bra I ordered from AP was a 30GG, I decided to stick with that size for my Lady Grey, ordering a standard plunge with no alterations.   Then I waited…and let me tell you, after being on a bra-buying dry spell for the last few months, I forgot how excruciating it is waiting for my bras to come in!  But finally it did come.  As I say with almost every bra I purchase, Lady Grey is even more beautiful and luxurious in person than in the pictures.  Not to say anything negative at all about my other Polish bras, but the AP bras definitely have a high quality luxury look and feel to them that is quite stunning.

image1 (24)

The first thing I noticed when I put on Lady Grey was how nice and firm the band and straps were.  It felt very secure and supportive without feeling constricting or uncomfortable.  I thought I had died and gone to Polish bra heaven!  But then upon further inspection of the fit, I noticed that there was a slight pointiness at the apex of the bra, where it wasn’t laying flat against my breasts.  My first thought was that the size might be slightly too big and that my breasts were not fully filling the cups.  I immediately sent the picture to my fellow AEE girls for their thoughts, and it was very clear to them that the cup was actually too small and that I needed to order the next size up, a 30H.  Over the next couple of hours I did that back and forth thing, trying to decide if I should just settle for a bra that was a little too small instead of having to send this bra back and wait for another one to be made (did I mention how much I hate waiting for bras 😉 ?), but in the end I decided that the girls were right and I needed to send it back.  Now one of the greatest perks about ordering through Bra Obsessed (and something I had never been able to experience before) is how easy exchanges and returns are.  I emailed Jaimie that night and asked if she happened to have a 30H in stock, and to my great joy, she did!  She mailed it out to me the very next day and I sent her back my too-small bra.  Easy peasy!

Now, have you ever had a time where you thought something fit fine…until you tried on anther size that fit you perfectly, and it was only then that you realized how poorly the original size fit?  That was basically my experience when my 30H came in.  The 30H did come with a couple alterations, with the straps moved in 3 cm and pockets added into the cups, but no alterations to the actual cups.  Below I have a comparison picture of Lady Grey in 30GG (bottom) and in 30H (top).  As you can see in the 30GG, the apex is too low (causing the pointiness), and the cups are too narrow which push my breasts in too much.  Though the gore is 1.75 cm taller in the bigger size, it is still low enough that the gore is comfortable and the wires don’t sit on my breast tissue at all. It was also a blessing in disguise that this bra already had the straps moved in, since I think that with the larger sized cup, the straps might have been too wide otherwise.

IMG_2251

I have worn Lady Grey both on the weekend and at work, wanting to try it out when I’m running around doing different activities as well as when I’m sitting at my desk job, just to try out it’s comfort level and I’d have to say that this in my top 2 or 3 most comfortable bras I own.  There are a couple of very specific reasons why I say this.  The first is that the band stays put.  I have a few bras that no matter how tight I make the band, because of the material it seems that the band likes to creep up throughout the day and I have to adjust it down.  This band is firm, yet very comfortable and it doesn’t move up my back even when I’m moving around a lot.  The second reason is that the gore is very comfortable.  I find that with most of my bras, by the end of a long day I can feel the gore starting to dig in a bit. I wore this bra for about 8 hours the first day and 10 hours the second and I felt no digging at all.  Overall I am so glad that I was able to purchase this gorgeous bra, and even happier that I didn’t settle for an “almost fitting” size and was able to get one that fit perfectly!

NOTE: Due to needing the larger cup size, I decided to remeasure my breast depth (it had been a while since I’ve done this). I’ve had my implants for 14 months and have had a 10.5″ depth since about 3 months post op, but it appears they have settled a bit more and now am measuring at 10.75″ (left) and 11″ (right). So it looks like I’ll be needing to size up in all my future bra purchases.  Oh darn…I guess I need some new bras 😉

Comexim-Rose Long Line

2016-13-3--16-54-22

I know it has been awhile since you have heard from us, and for that I apologize. Life happened, for a lot of us, but we are back, and promise to get back to posting regularly. 🙂

I am in love. I may or may not have said this about a few other bras that I have. Who am I kidding? If I have written about it, chances are, I am in love. 😉 But this one. Ahhh. This one is stunning. The Rose Long Line by Comexim. As usual, pictures do not do this bra justice. The black base, with the soft floral pattern are perfection. The fabric itself is very soft, and at first glance, is reminiscent of corduroy. Not the thickness, but the soft ridged texture. It is not textured enough to show under clothes, but adds enough to the fabric to really make it stand it out as not your “every day” bra.

  2016-13-3--16-47-26                                                  2016-13-3--16-50-13

The roses are soft shades of a deep pink, mid tone and light pinks, with various shades of green leaves. There are also shades of yellow, gray, white and blue.

The lines that come up through the fabric are a shimmery black and reflect the color that lies underneath. If the strip is over black, it reflects back. If it is over pink or green, it reflects those shades as well, further adding to the luxuriousness that is the Rose Long Line.

2016-13-3--16-49-17

There is a black bow accent at the gore, and lining the tops of the cups are two pieces of black elastic, with the sheerest black mesh like material connecting the two. A panel of the floral print extends to the bottom of the band, down the center of the bra.

The back of the bra is solid black, as are the fully adjustable straps, that extends to meet the floral print in the front. There are three rows of 5 hook and eye closures. Mine is constructed of three-part half cups, allowing for the projection that I need. Rose is beyond comfortable, and extremely supportive, offering a delicate rounded lift.  The inside of  the bra is lined with black cotton.

This bra is so gorgeous that I am trying to come up with ways to wear it so that is can be seen, without looking like I am trying to show off my bra. Any suggestions? I’m thinking a black button up, not buttoned all the way with a black pencil skirt. Yes, I think that could work 🙂 Rose sells for 160,00 zl on Comexim’s website. This is definitely one that you should consider adding to your collection if you haven’t already. Tell Anna that Tanzilove from An Enhanced Experience sent you. 😉

Farewell to Anna Pardal-Sabine Long Line- As Elegant As It Gets

Sabine LL 36GG Doyenne HC

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I am writing this review today. Honestly, I had started this post a few weeks ago when I first received my Anna Pardal order. Due to personal reasons, I had to step away from it for a bit. And now, I am ready to post it, and have received the sad news this morning that Anna of Anna Pardal is closing her business. Originally, this review contained information about Anna Pardal the company, how they operate, Anna moving her company to Poland to be closer to her manufacturer, Comexim, and how much she cares for her customers and making sure that they have a wonderful, gorgeous, properly fitting bra. It discussed the ups and downs that Anna herself had mentioned in her newsletter. The ups and downs no longer matter. What does matter is that Anna Pardal was a company known for their high end fabrics, stunning designs, and sweet, caring, eloquently spoken creator, Anna.

So, on to the review. I am in LOVE with this bra. It is the Sabine Doyenne Half Cup, Long Line. Yep, all of that. With Anna Pardal, you were able to customize to your hearts’ content. I requested pocket inserts for cookies and the straps moved in 2 cm. I tend to get some gaping of the material at each side of the gore in Anna Pardal and Comexim styles, so I request that the material be reduced there as well. I wish that I was lucky enough to be able to order everything standard. It would make my life so much easier! If you didn’t know already, the talented Anna of Comexim provided the manufacturing of Anna Pardal styles. The 2 Anna’s worked well together and have created some amazing pieces.

Anna describes the Doyenne Half cup as:

With a low profile and a wider wire base, the Doyenne offers a new take on sophisticated sensuality.  The cup provides support from below, a wonderful option for a more spacious decolletage, and intelligent pattern adjustments are incorporated throughout the size range. Relative to the Classic Plunge, we bring the straps closer in on G+ cups. For 28 to 32 bands we reduce the center gore, and for 38+ bands we raise the gore.

Doyenne Half-Cup is available in either a standard or longline shape and with any of our fabrics.”

The Sabine bra has a red base, with black mesh lace overlay. There are light red/pinkish flowers on the material and the vertical seams are made of black stitching. Red bows at the straps and the gore (my pictures make them appear pinker than what they truly are), and black lace trim along the tops of the cups. The inside of the bra is lined with soft red cotton. This Long Line is so comfortable that I could sleep in it. There are 3 rows of 5 hook and eye closures, for the utmost comfort. It is exceptionally supportive, and beyond beautiful. So beautiful in fact, that I wish I could wear it on its own. It is the kind of bra that you want to show people. You want the detail and craftsmanship to be seen, not tucked away under clothes. Luckily, I have AEE to use as my platform 😉

I wish that I had every Anna Pardal style in a Long Line version. I am in love with half cups, and the combination of styles that you could order with just one fabric made for a number of different bras. After reading Anna’s Newsletter this morning, my first thought, ‘I hope she is ok”. My next, “I wish I had ordered everything.”

An Enhanced Experience wishes Anna Pardal a very fond farewell. We were very lucky to be able to interview Anna early on in our blogging careers. You can read that post here. Anna has a passion for her lingerie, and we hope all the best for her, her family, and her future endeavors. The world of Polish Lingerie lovers has lost a brilliant company today. If you ever decide to come back, we will be waiting for you.

Please feel free to show Anna how much she will be missed on her Facebook page, and ours.

Below, you can see some of our favorite pieces from Anna Pardal.

Until next time,

Ewa Michalak- Rose Mist

Rose Mist WM

We really need to talk about this bra. This gorgeous, sexy, sheer, blush colored bra. The Ewa Michalak Rose Mist. You won’t find it on the Ewa Michalak website. This is one of those special, you can only find it if you know where to look bras. Don’t worry, I will give you all the info 😉 I picked this beauty up from Brava Lingerie, out of Australia. Their customer service is top notch. They want their customers to be happy, regardless of the country they live in. Becky, my wonderful contact at Brava is so amazingly sweet, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Becky’s email is customerservice@bravawoman.com.au. The bras on their website do show in Australian sizing, but she can help you figure out the size that you need if you know your Ewa Michalak size. Feel free to stalk the website for your next purchase 😉

On to the bra!

This is the most beautiful shade of blush pink. It is an SM style, and the cups are made of a single layer of sheer mesh which offers amazing shape and support, as all Ewa Michalak SMs seem to manage.

What sold me on this bra? The seams. They are a delicate pink satin. In my size (80GG/14GG AUS) this is a 3 part cup. The seams do not show through clothing and provide a nice smooth shape. The top of the cups are adorned with pink lace and the same lace is stitched onto the straps which are fully adjustable.

There are pink satin bows at the gore and at the straps. Where the cups meet the straps, there are two layers of mesh for added support. There are 4 rows of 3 hook and eye closures. 20151127_230748        20151127_230823 20151127_230735

As far as Ewa Michalak bras go, you would think this bra is almost plain. There are no bold patterns, no contrasting colorways that make up a beautiful piece of artwork. But this bra is still very much stunning. It is sheer, subtle sexiness, and it deserves a place in your bra wardrobe.
